Macy and Seth were hot...hot...hot! There was instant chemistry between the two from the first time they met. Macy has had a rough time finding "the right" guy and has had bad luck in the relationship department. One day while on her run she sees Seth outside the Fire Department he works at. An infatuation with Seth begins and Macy has to figure out a way to get his attention. Once Macy has she has caught Seth's eyes the attraction is undeniable and a romance with some twists and turns begins. A friendship also begins between Macy and Seth's "friend" Robbie. This is where things turn towards the kinky side and decisions need to be made by everyone especially Macy. Definitely pick up your copy today and see what happens for yourself.
My only minor issue I had with the book is that I felt like there was some unfinished business between Seth, Robbie and Macy. I would have liked to have seen a little bit more of the backstory between Seth and Robbie. Without giving too much away I felt like while reading there was stuff happening behind the scenes (mind you) that were left out of the actual story. I would have enjoyed learning more about Robbie and what made him tick.
That being said When Sparks Fly was definitely a sexy, funny and good read. I loved Macy and her craziness. Seth and his hotness and his huge "hose". I wouldn't mind having him home with me!!! I couldn't put the book down - read it one day. I Definitely recommend When Sparks Fly!
This was my first book by J.A. Essen and I truly enjoyed reading it. Again when can you go wrong with hot steamy sex and some good romance thrown in for good measures. Look forward to reading the next book in the series
